He is also the author of several prose titles, including The Life of David (Schocken, 2006); Democracy, Culture, and the Voice of Poetry (2002); The Sounds of Poetry (1998), which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award; Poetry and the World (1988); and The Situation of Poetry(1977). In 1985 he also released a computerized novel, Mindwheel. Pinsky has published two acclaimed works of traslation: The Inferno of Dante (1994), which was a Book-of-the-Month-Club Editor's Choice, and received both the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the Harold Morton Landon Translation Award; and The Separate Notebooks by Czeslaw Milosz (with Renata Gorczynski and Robert Hass). His honors include an American Academy of Arts and Letters award, both the William Carlos Williams Award and the Shelley Memorial prize from the Poetry Society of America, the PEN/Voelcker Award for Poetry, and a Guggenheim Foundation fellowship. I try to keep it as real as possible when it comes to the word of God. I’m a cool, down to earth guy, and I’m easy to talk to if you ever meet me in person. You will find that I can relate to a lot of stuff you’re going through or have gone through; jail, probation, drugs, alcohol, sex, guns, aliens, angels, demons, ghosts, etc. I’ve been through a lot and I’m not ashamed of my past. I had to go through the past to get to where I am now. I don’t like to beat around the bush, so I just give it to you straight forward and blunt. You’ll find me sarcastic at times, and I try to mix in a little humor with my teaching. God doesn’t have to be as boring as some traditional Pastors make Him out to be. God is actually quite fun once you get to know Him. I am living proof that God can and will use regular people to get His goals accomplished. God has a strange habit of choosing the worst people (in societies opinion) to carry out His will. My purpose is to encourage and inform you, strengthen and uplift you, and if necessary, correct you, but all in love. I will be exploring very controversial subjects and letting you respond. World EOTM Radio premiere of HOT new Single “Hero”! The 411 >> Dante' Eugene Murry on March 12, 1987, was born to a family of six on the South side of Chicago. As the middle child he was forced to do whatever it took to stand out from the others. Sang happy birthday to himself on his 1st birthday and haven't stop singing since. Performed for the first time at church on Easter Sunday where his pastor prophesied "you will become one of the world's leading singers". That same night Dante told his mother about his dreams of getting them out the hood. He began learning to perfect his music skills by practicing everyday and forcing himself to learn about the ins and outs of the music industry by reading at least one book a month. This study was made easy for him seeing as though his family was too poor to afford cable, which allowed him to think outside the cable box. Now his creativity had no choice but to roam. By the age of 14, Dante' had performed at least 100 times throughout the times throughout the metro Chicago area. Due to funding, exposure to perform outside his hometown area was limited. It was that year his mother decided to better his chances by moving into one of the cheapest apartments she could afford in the suburbs, assuming it would be better than the city life. After living in Hazel Crest, IL for a year Dante' was signed to Street Legal records with expectations of fulfilling that prophecy as one of the industries hottest R&B artists.
